Terms of Service — Octopus AI Toolbox for Trade
Product brand: Octopus AI Toolbox
Operator: Octopus AI Toolbox
Website: https://octotool.net
Contact: [email protected]
Effective date: 2026-10-04
1. Service
Octopus AI Toolbox for Trade is a Chrome browser extension that provides a side panel workspace for webpage research, translation, annotation, organization, SEO checks, WordPress publishing, local recording, and user-directed browser tasks.
2. Account
You must register or sign in to an Octopus account. You are responsible for account security, authorized device sessions, and the accuracy of information you provide. You must not share credentials or use the service to circumvent platform controls.
Customer website sign-in sessions currently last up to 90 days. Extension authorization currently expires 20 days after authorization and must then be renewed. If website sign-in remains valid, renewal may require authorization confirmation without a new password sign-in. Logout, revocation, or account changes may end access earlier.
3. License
The operator grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the extension according to these terms and Chrome Web Store policies.
4. Your data and authorization
You remain responsible for ensuring that you have permission to process websites, accounts, customer data, and business content used with the extension. You control model endpoints, API keys, connector credentials, and website authorization.
5. Third-party services
The extension may connect to services you configure, including model APIs, DataForSEO API and MCP, Apify, CrUX, WordPress, and TypeSafe/Jev. Necessary tool inputs and authentication information are sent to the corresponding service, and results may be included in subsequent requests to your selected model service. Each service's terms, fees, quotas, processing, retention, and training settings apply. The operator is not responsible for third-party availability, billing, or enforcement.
6. AI output
AI results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your purpose. Review translations, emails, SEO conclusions, published content, and business decisions before relying on them.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the extension to:
- violate laws or third-party terms
- send bulk or unsolicited email
- create accounts or fake engagement
- bypass captchas, authentication, paywalls, rate limits, or anti-abuse systems
- scrape or automate websites without permission
- process data you are not authorized to use
- misrepresent AI content or infringe third-party rights
8. External actions
By delegating a task, you authorize the extension to perform actions within the task's permitted scope. Those actions may run automatically without per-step confirmation. You can stop a task, but stopping does not reverse actions already completed by a website or service. Chrome permissions, sign-in requirements, and connector-specific controls still apply. An interrupted or uncertain result must be checked before the same action is attempted again.
9. No guarantee
The service is provided “as is.” The operator does not guarantee rankings, inquiries, delivery, indexing, backlinks, scraping success, API availability, or model accuracy.
10. Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, third-party charges, account restrictions, or damages caused by third-party services.
11. Termination
The account and license may be suspended or terminated for policy violation, abuse, legal requirement, or service discontinuation.
12. Contact
